The key is treating a hex value as a colour instruction, not a guarantee that every screen and every painted surface will look identical. What a hex code actually tells you

In these situations, provide the complete code, including the # symbol where applicable, and check it carefully before ordering. #333333 and #333336 may look close on screen but are not the same instruction. Avoid relying on a screenshot if the original hex value is available, as screenshots can be affected by compression, display settings and image editing.
