RAL Design

The RAL Design range is a modern, systematic colour system developed for architects, designers, and industrial users who need precise, logically organised colours rather than traditional names.

What the RAL Design system is

  • It consists of 1,825 colours.
  • Colours are defined using a numeric code based on Hue – Lightness – Chroma (HLC).
  • Instead of descriptive names, each colour has a 7-digit code (e.g. RAL 270 30 40), making it exact and unambiguous.
