Create a fresh new look

Spray painting a composite door with aerosol spray paint can give it a refreshed look if done properly. Here’s our step-by-step guide:

  • CLEANING

    Clean Thoroughly,
    Use a degreaser/ Panel Wipe to remove dirt, oil, and any contaminants.
    Wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth and let dry completely.

  • SANDING

    Sand Lightly,
    Lightly scuff the surface with fine-grit Sanding Sponge to improve paint adhesion.
    Wipe off dust with a tack cloth or clean, damp cloth.





  • MASKING

    Protect Surrounding Areas, Remove any hardware that can be removed, and then using masking tape and masking paper mask areas that are not to be painted, protect the floor and surrounding area.

  • SPRAY PAINTING

    Shake the Can Well,
    Shake the spray paint can for at least 2 minutes to mix it thoroughly.
    Start with a light mist coat to prevent runs.
    Use smooth, overlapping motions left to right or top to bottom.
    Hold the can 8–12 inches from the door.
    Wait for each coat to dry (usually 10–20 minutes) before applying the next.
    Usually, 2–3 coats are ideal for an even, durable finish.
