HMG Thinner 2691 is a solvent-based thinner designed for use with recommended HMG coating systems. It is used to adjust the viscosity of compatible paints and coatings for easier application and to help achieve the correct finish, where HMG specifies Thinner 2691 in the relevant product datasheet. HMG lists the product code as TNR2691 and describes it as “for use in recommended HMG systems.”
It is commonly associated with compatible HMG products such as Epilife 2, Nisocoat HS, Stoving Enamel, Epiprime, and Epoxy Primer EP2. Bailey Paints also lists it as suitable for Chromate Free Etch Primer and Epiprime EP2, and identifies it as a solvent-based thinner.
